We had the privilege of meeting and interviewing David Katz, founder of the @PlasticBank, at INC-2 in Paris last week! The Plastic Bank is an organisation that 'monatizes' plastic waste (gives it value) by having fishing communities in poor areas of the world to get locals to collect plastic waste that would otherwise be in the ocean, and take it to a plastic bank. There they will give them credits for things like medical insurance, food, school tuition for their kids and more.
It was amazing meeting him, as he is so inspiring.
