Planeteer ‘Plastic Pollution’ Youth Summit 2023
-The Courtyard, Hereford, United Kingdom-
Have you been concerned about plastic pollution, but don’t feel like you can make a difference?
Join hosts Zara (14) and Ashton (12) in a one day event learning how to use artivism (activism through art) - to raise awareness about the PLASTIC PROBLEM. We’ll learn about effects of plastic pollution on our environment, hear from global organisations (like Notpla & The Plastic Bank) about what solutions they’re using, and discover how someone at any age can make a difference - with some creativity!
The day will include breakout sessions on ‘litter-pick’ creations, digital art, building websites/blogs and even an intro to video-making.
The event is powered by the Planeteer Alliance, which is sponsoring a weekend of youth summits around the world in 24 other locations. Spaces are limited to 24, so registration is essential. You can register for the event by emailing your name, contact details & age to: contact@hiddenplastic.org
