Planeteer ‘Plastic Pollution’ Youth Summit 2023

Have you been concerned about plastic pollution, but don’t feel like you can make a difference?

Join hosts Zara (14) and Ashton (12) in a one day event learning how to use artivism (activism through art) - to raise awareness about the PLASTIC PROBLEM. We’ll learn about effects of plastic pollution on our environment, hear from global organisations (like Notpla & The Plastic Bank) about what solutions they’re using, and discover how someone at any age can make a difference - with some creativity!

 

The day will include breakout sessions on ‘litter-pick’ creations, digital art, building websites/blogs and even an intro to video-making.

 

The event is powered by the Planeteer Alliance, which is sponsoring a weekend of youth summits around the world in 24 other locations. Spaces are limited to 24, so registration is essential.
